Stacy McCormack grew up in Anne Arundel County where she attended Meade High School. She graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. She remains a big Terp fan and tries to catch as many football, basketball, lacrosse games as she can. She loves coaching and can often be found (and heard) on the sidelines of her kids’ games. She is never without her Coca-Cola and hanging out with her family.

The Blue Ribbon Project was founded by Tom "Taylor" Pyles. Taylor entered a career of broadcast radio after graduating high school. In 2003, Taylor joined the Annapolis Police Department in communications capacity. He later was hired as a sworn officer within the department. In 2010, Taylor moved from the Patrol Division to take a position within the Criminal Investigations Division. Taylor primarily investigates violent crimes and any crimes against children. He is also a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate with Anne Arundel County, working as an advocate in the court system for children in foster care.

Andrew C. White, a senior partner with Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin, White, is a former  Assistant United States Attorney who served as a Senior Litigation Advisor to the Clinton
Independent Counsel in the Monica Lewinsky investigation. Andy has over 25 years of  experience trying civil and criminal cases of all kinds. He has coordinated hundreds of
complex federal criminal investigations and has tried over 400 state and federal criminal trials, including over 30 federal jury trials.

Kim Hartlove is the Program Coordinator for The Blue Ribbon Project's Aging Up...Not Out program. Kim has been the project coordinator for the A.L.E.R.T. program with the Annapolis Police Department since 2013. Currently enrolled in University of Maryland University College, she is majoring in Communications Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies. She has almost 20 years’ experience as an educator having worked with students of all different learning levels since 1996.  Her most recent experience working with youth was assisting learning disabled middle school students where she worked for 7 years.  Helping students succeed has always been a passion and priority to Kim. She has been a lifelong Maryland resident where she still currently lives with husband and family.

Tom "Taylor" Pyles founded The Blue Ribbon Project in 2013 as a support network for Child Abuse Survivors and to bring awareness to child abuse and neglect.

 

They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. That’s certainly the case when it comes to author and public speaker Keith Edmonds. Experiencing a childhood marred by tragedy, he was faced early on with choices no child should ever have to make. “When something tragic in life occurs, you have three choices: you can bottle it up, develop resentment, or face the situation head-on – the third being the choice I’ve made.” It is with this resilient attitude that Keith, despite the resonating effects of his tragedy, has been able to build a life he loves and share his story with others.
