Founder's Blog (1)

Our "Founder's Blog" was started as a way to share inside information regarding The Blue Ribbon Project. The Founder's Blog is a place where not just our founder, but various professionals and people involved in The Blue Ribbon Project can speak about what's on their mind, their experiences, as well as share their stories.

I've been wanting to start a blog for awhile...not because it's the "cool" website thing to do, but wanted to give you a glimpse into the behind the scenes stuff that involves The Blue Ribbon Project and why we do what we do...I'll share my full story in a later post but wanted to give you a little background so you have a better understanding...Back in the 1980's I entered foster care due to physical abuse. Eventually, I aged out of the system.  Fast forward many years when I became a police officer and then a detective.
