Second Annual BRP Open House

Registration is closed for this event

Join The Blue Ribbon Project on Sunday, May 6th for our Second Annual Open House. Last year was an incredible experience with a wonderful turnout and we plan on making this year even bigger and better! We will have plenty of family friendly events and activities taking place...such as a bouncy house, face painting, book giveaways, food, refreshments,  and things for the entire family. Each day there are new things being added and it will be a great time for the entire family.

The Blue Ribbon Project will have displays about each of our programs as well as tours of our facility in Crownsville. Come out and see what it's all about and learn how you can make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children in our community as well as local foster youth.

There will also be a multiude of vendors on hand that work with children in our community as well as other non-profits, businesses, and organizations.

Please keep an eye on our website and facebook page as we add events as well as vendors.

Directions to our facility:

From Annapolis:

Take Generals Highway past Annapolis Mall and continue past the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. After the fairgrounds, the next traffic signal is Crownsville Road. Turn left at the light on to Crownsville Road and make an immediate right on to Fairfield Loop Road. At this point, you will begin seeing our signs. These street signs have a blue ribbon with an arrow pointing you in the direction. You will also see signs for the Anne Arundel County Police as well as the Child Advocacy Center. Follow these signs on to Community Place. Continue following the blue ribbon signs as well as signs for the Child Advocacy Center (arrows will direct you). You will reach a point where the Child Advocacy Center is on your right. You will want to continue straight and follow the road down a hill and to the right that goes behind the Child Advocacy Center. After you turn right, you will continue straight and follow the small road back around to the front of our building. Just keep following the arrow signs that will direct you in. As a back-up, you can also park in front of CID/CAC and walk to your right (when facing the building).

From points north:

Take I-97 South to the Crownsville exit (Exit 5). From this exit, continue straight on to Route 178 and continue towards the county fairgrounds. At your 2nd traffic light, you'll turn right on to Crownsville Road and make an immediate right on to Fairfield Loop Road.
