Resource Library

The Blue Ribbon Project’s Resource Library is a collection of articles and guides designed to inform, support, and empower our community. Here you’ll find resources on trauma, healing, foster care, prevention, and more—each written to help children, families, and advocates build safer, stronger futures.

Healing is possible, and resilience grows when people are given the right tools and encouragement. This section offers practical strategies, hope, and guidance for building strength and moving forward after adversity.

Protecting children begins with awareness and action. These articles focus on preventing abuse, recognizing warning signs, promoting safety, and empowering communities to keep children safe.

Foster families and youth in care often face unique challenges. Here you’ll find information, tools, and encouragement designed to support caregivers, foster parents, and children navigating the foster care system.

If You Are Concerned About a Child

If you are concerned that a child may be experiencing abuse or neglect, please do not wait. You do not need proof - you only need reasonable concern. Reports made in good faith are protected by law.

AI chatbots are not a substitute for trained crisis professionals. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please use the resources above. Reporting abuse can protect a child. Remember, you do not need to be certain that abuse is occurring - if you have concerns, reach out. Trained professionals will assess the situation and take appropriate steps.  If you are a survivor of childhood abuse and are struggling with its effects, support is available. Healing is possible, and you deserve to access it.
