The Goddard School in Gambrills Hosts Clothing Drive for The Blue Ribbon Project

This April, The Goddard School in Gambrills is organizing a special collection drive in support of The Blue Ribbon Project in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month The school invites families and community members to contribute.

Donations from the drive will go directly toward helping children in need, offering them clean, well-fitting clothing and other essential items, providing a sense of dignity during difficult times. All donations will go to the Backpacks of Love Program and Mirah’s Closet programs. Backpacks of Love is a program that provides backpacks containing emergency essentials to children who are entering foster care. Mirah’s Closet is a foster closet where children and youth in care can “shop for free” for any clothing and essentials they may need.

Families and community members are encouraged to drop off new clothing at The Goddard School in Gambrills throughout April. Every donation makes a difference and helps ensure that children in crisis receive the care and comfort they deserve.

For more information about most needed items, you can visit  the Greatest Needs page. During the drive, Goddard will have tables set up to drop off your donations.

Let’s come together as a community to support children in need!
